Loose Leaf Luxury Tea
While Congou Mao Jia is a green tea grown in the mountainous coastal region of the WuYi mountains. The tea is allowed to ferment briefly which results in the dry leaves having a dark hue and more smoothness.
The tell tale signs of silver tips in this tea signify their harvesting has been selective and as such must have to be plucked every day to ensure only new shoots are gathered. A smooth tasting tea, though surprisingly pungent, it would be a good first green tea to try if you've traditionally drunk black tea. These dark and lightly fermented leaves yield are remarkably different from what you would normally find sipping green tea. A pale brew with sandy hues that is uniquely smooth and a breath of fresh air.
