SEPTEMBER'S MICRO-LOT: Yirgacheffee, Ethiopia

The famed Yirgacheffe micro-region is, and continues to be, outstanding in quality and taste. Adado is located at around 7000 feet above sea level, in a mountainous region. The area is characterised by lush vegetation and is typically considered a “true forest” zone.

The heirloom involves a mix of regional varieties found in Adado include Kurume, Dega, and Wolisho varieties. These unique Adado-specific varieties, with their high bean densities and great cup characteristics, are the prime reason for the famed taste of the Adado coffee. 

The favourable conditions of altitude, soil, climate, and processing amplify the unique tastes of these varieties. The cool temperatures at these altitudes allow for a longer maturation process, resulting in a fuller, richer, and more pronounced flavour. 

The washed Adado coffee produces a clean cup with bright acidity and medium body which is complemented by delightful floral notes. The refreshing essence of citrus, zesty clementine, and luscious peach harmonise to create an exquisite coffee experience.

Setting up a subscription is simple. Select your preferred size and if you'd like beans or pre-ground for how you brew. 

How It Works
Leave it with us to carefully select new coffee lots each month from the finest producers around the world. After cupping and profiling test batches, we roast all micro-lots subscriptions to order, pack them up and send them out. We roast a little extra and sell these individually too.

We alway guarantee excellence in every cup as all our limited edition micro-lot coffees have to meet a minimum speciality coffee quality requirement and score above 85+ by a Q-grader. You will not be disappointed and you won't find these coffees available anywhere else on our shop.

What You'll Receive
You will always receive a different speciality coffee at peak freshness delivered to your door. To ensure your coffee stays fresh and delicious we only packed these limited edition coffees in 200g resealable bags - but you're welcome to order as much as you'd like.

Is There A Deadline?
Yes, at the end of each month all new subscription orders are added to our roasting schedule. There may be a short delay from when you order to when you receive your first packet, after your first order you will receive regular monthly deliveries until you decide to end your subscription

When Will My Coffee Arrive?
Each batch is roasted during the first week of each month and shipped within 7 days once the coffee has degassed and been orders are packed to be sent out.
